During camp, everyone tried archery. When I say tried I mean attempted.
To set up before shooting was simple, you get a bow and an arrow, attach them in the right place then shoot. I was very talented and actually shot the arrow into the wrong target; very talented I know! But other than my many fails it was fun. I enjoyed it and I know many others did aswell

Diary entry 2.2.16
If you searched “basic” or “standard” in the dictionary, google or even yahoo if you’re that desperate, you would find an embarrassing photo of me, Dylan Marten. I’m not saying I hate my life, don’t get me wrong I love my life, I have everything I need, parents, food, water, education ETC. My friends are great, they aren't dramatic and petty. I guess you could call me your average, blonde haired and blue eyed kid. It’s just sometimes I wish I had an more interesting life. I know i’m fortunate and all, but ya know I just wish.
Oh! I almost forgot, my birthday is coming up! I’m kinda excited :) I wonder what my parents are getting me! They always make it a big surprise, you will never see it coming! I hope they know that I want, a PS4. Imagine me, Dylan Marten a PS4 owner. Just in case they don’t know I'll drop some hints.
Today is my birthday! Hip hip hooray for me! I’m just about to go down stairs and see what I got. I’ll be back soon.
-91 min later-
Okay, I’m back. Guess what my mum got me, A pet… ROCK! I think my mum is serious about this whole rock thing, but I’m praying it’s a massive joke. Also, there’s no PS4 :’( but luckily we are going to Mcdonald's, I prefer KFC but i’m not going to push it.
-3 hours later-
I was just at Mcdonalds and my mum made me bring the rock, I named it Pete :) But as we were about to open the door another family walked behind us. My dad embarrassingly pushed the pull door! So I had to open the door. I’m still a kid, so when my parents ordered I ran and played in the plastic tubes, I ran up and down the slides and steps. After a while I decided to go out and eat. Suddenly I realized Pete was missing, I ran back into the tubes and started my search party. Luckily I found him before my panic attack, I think I was starting to tolerate the rock. I picked him up from near the plastic fingerprinted, window where I must've left him. He stared at me with his big googly eyes. Now that I think about it, He is kinda cute.
And that’s the tale of Dylan and Pete the rock :)

This Story starts as a summer with Sarah a girl who is very shy and an social. Sarah hates camp, but her brother on the other hand loves socialising and meeting people to joke around with. Sarah also gets the worst bed in her cabin.
In this book I think that Sarah will meet a skeleton or ghost and the skeleton will watch her from the lake.
So far I am enjoying this book, Because lots has happened in just 1 chapter.
Sarah is causing trouble with her bunkmates, because she got a horrible bunk. Sarah also meets a camp counselor he was trying to sort out the bunk argument. She is also worried that she set a wrong foot with her new roommates.
Briana is the roommate that Sarah swapped bunks with, got really annoyed at Sarah for making them swap. Meg is one of the other roommate Sarah has to put up with, Meg is a chubbier girl and is very sensitive she snaps at Sarah when she accidently says the wrong thing to her. Jan was very nice to Sarah until she spills all her asthma pills out of her bag. Now Sarah is determined to get them on her good side.
In this Chapter Sarah is at a campfire with the rest of the camp, she can see her brother laughing and her mean bunkmates laughing at her secretly. Suddenly Meg shouted at Sarah to run, Sarah was confused.
The girls told Sarah that some boys threw fireworks into the fire and told her to run, eventually Sarah finds out that it was all a joke and all the campers started laughing at her. Aaron comes over and tells Sarah to shake it off and to laugh it off. Later on a camp counselor named LIz came and started talking about the camp water system rules, while Richard kept cracking jokes, this lasted about 30 mins.
During this chapter Meg and Briana wanted to apologize for what they had done to Sarah, they asked if they could get a fresh start. Sarah agreed and said that would be a good idea; Until this good idea wasn't so good after all, Sarah felt something wiggly up her shirt.
I really am enjoying this book because lots happens in each chapter and it’s very interesting and relatable, I also like the characters and their personalities.
Sarah whipped the snake out of her shirt and screamed Aaron ran over and asked if she was okay, and she ignored him, so Aaron just ran to catch up with his friends. Sarah took out her flashlight and aimed the bright yellow light at her feet and started walking back to her cabin. Sarah looked up and realized she got lost and she couldn't see the path she was meant to take. Sarah finds herself in Quicksand.
Sarah found out that it was just mud. She saw lots of spiders in the mud; Those spiders gave her an idea, an idea to get Briana and Meg back for what they did. Sarah Grabbed some spiders and shoved them into the battery part of the flashlight, and ran back to her cabin. Sarah poured the spiders under the covers of Megs and Brianas bed. As Brianna and Meg Came into the Cabin laughing at Sarah, Sarah couldn't wait to find out what will happen next.
Sarah started canoeing after breakfast, She got forced to go with Jan, and as they were paddling across the lake Sarah wondered if she could swim back to shore (because she isn't the best swimmer) But as she looked behind herself she noticed that Jan was standing up, and Sarah commanded Jan to sit down, but the only thing Jan said was “Goodbye, Sarah”. I’m not sure if Jan knows that Sarah isn't a good swimmer and Jan is trying to make her swim.
In this chapter Jan complains to Sarah that she can't go to the 6 day canoe trip because everyone knows she has Asthma Sarah’s Boat gets flipped over because Jan jumped off it. Struggling to breath Sarah grabbed the boat and shouted for Jan, Yet no reply.
Jan swam all the way to the camp to tell Liz and all the campers that Sarah tipped over the canoe, Liz swam to Sarah to tell her the water rules. Liz even hold a camp meeting to go over the water rules again. All the campers are now mad at Sarah.
I’m Really enjoying this relatable book.
Sarah got angry at her brother, Aaron because he was acting more responsible, than how she was acting. In anger Sarah shoved her brother into the lake. This all started because she wanted to run away from camp.
Sarah made a devious plan to “drown” herself, in chance of getting sympathy from the other campers. Sarah didn't tell Aaron though she knew he would tell Liz to get Sarah to stop. Sarah takes a deep breath; looks at the other campers laughing and goes under water.
I’m Dying to know what happens next
In no luck Sarah struggles to breath, she is now really drowning. She sees bright yellow dots, and her back starts to burn; She slowly gets heavier and heavier. Sarah has drowned, and she can’t see anyone except yellow dots.
Sarah manages to get out of the thick green water. She can’t see anyone in the water, So she goes through all the cabins but all the bags and trunks are gone. Everyone is gone; Until Sarah hears something, a voice, someone was singing. I high pitched voice sung in the distance.
Sarah meets a ghostly girl, that demands Sarah to be her buddy. Sarah realizes that the blonde ghost girl is dead; That means Sarah is dead also. The blonde ghostly girl was singing the Camps song.
I think that the ghost is the person on the cover.
Sarah realized that she did drown and she is in the heaven of the lake. Sarah attempts to run away from the faint ghost girl, she runs to the lake where she drowned and died and suddenly she can’t breathe and it’s just like when she drowned.
Sarah sees white lights then she wakes up into the real world and liz is doing CPR on Sarah. Sarah hears Jan talking about her rudely but she ignores it because she’s just happy to be alive. Later that evening at the campfire Sarah sits down, but strangely someone is calling her Sarah looks around just to see Della, the Dead girl from when Sarah was “dead”.
Sarah has made a plan to run away, but after she tells Aaron about Della he tells her that she’s just scared from the drowning accident.
I’m enjoying this book a lot, I think it’s interesting and unpredictable.
Sarah was super happy after Briana and Jan apologized and agreed to start over there new friendship. Sarah went to bed with bright purple nails after their late night nail salon. But just as Sarah fell asleep she heard the ghost whispering her name.
Sarah and Jan paired up for the swimming day, at first Sarah was not sure to pair with Jan after their last swimming activity. During their swimming Jan sped up in front of Sarah, but when Sarah called for her, she ignored. When Sarah finally caught up, Jan turned around to look at Sarah, but Jan's face did not belong to Jan. It was Della.
Jan swam rapidly to get away from the ghost named Della. Sarah was frightened still, but when Sarah finally reached Liz’s boat. Liz was not there either it was still Della!
After liz’s face returned to normal, Liz drove Sarah back to the shore. Sarah spoke to Richard about Della, but as she told him Sarah heard a sigh behind her, and of course it was Della. Sarah asked Richard if he could she Della, and he said he could.
Richard was just joking around about that he could see Della, so he just told Sarah that sometimes brains make you see things like that, and that Sarah should try a difficult water sport so she will be concentrating so hard that she will forget about Della and all other ghosts.
Sarah ignored Richards attempt to help Sarah’s ghost problem, After Richard left the room Sarah snapped and screamed “SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!” to Della, just in time to find Briana standing behind her. Briana was sad, because she thought Sarah was talking to her, and she was actually trying to be friends again. Later that week Aaron was telling Sarah not to call their parents because he was enjoying himself, Sarah realized it was a bad idea in the first place and she also realized that it was a bad idea to stay away from the water and everyone else, so Sarah took the challenge of going water skiing. Liz was happy that Sarah was giving it a go, so she showed her how to do it, and got all the water skiing gear for Sarah, and called the motorboat to come across the lake. Sarah carefully climbed onto the water skis and shouting “READY” to the motorboat driver. Sarah was waterskiing like a pro until she saw that the motorboat driver was Della, Sarah started screaming for someone to stop the boat, but Della ignored.
Nothing happened in this chapter, but Sarah let go of the tug-boat rope and fell into the water, and realized that Della was going to try and run her over with the boat.
Sarah tried to pull her life-vest off in chance of swimming under the boat. She couldn't get it off, first but then after a while it slipped off and she dived under the boat, but she thought that the blades sliced off her head.
Sarah waited for the pain, but then she realized that it was the life-vest that got sliced, Sarah was so pleased with herself when she swam to shore. Sarah quickly decided to run away through the forest. But before she could she bumped into Briana, Sarah told her where she was going, Briana just said “Good luck”
Sarah started running through the forest until she runs into Della, Della tells Sarah that she didn’t die from drowning, but she died from snakes in the forest that she’s now in, Sarah is confused because Della made Sarah scared of the water, because Della knew she would run into the forest in attempt to escape. Della controls snakes to wrap up Sarah's legs, Until Briana comes and protects Sarah saying that that Della tried to kill her last year. Until Briana stopped Della, and Briana came back to camp just to warn the next girl. Della falls off the tree branch she was sitting on and disappears. Briana looks at Sarah, Sarah was so happy that Della was gone, that she hugged Briana, but Sarah couldn't feel Briana, her hands just went right through her. It turns out Briana is a ghost also.
I thought this was a great book, it’s an easy read and it’s not difficult. I recommend this book for ages between 10-15 and for both genders. This book grabs your attention and makes you turn the next page, I also think that the characters are relatable and fun to read.

This story starts off as the daily events of Caitlin, a young girl who lives with her Mum. Caitlin’s Mum is a divorced parent but is dating a man named Phil. In this Chapter Phil takes the mother and Caitlin on a bike ride, but with a dramatic twist Caitlin’s mother falls off her bike into a bush, after she got distracted. I think this will be a great book and I really like it.
Main Characters: Caitlin, the mum and Phil
None of the Characters really grabbed my attention, but I’m sure there will be more characters to introduce.
From reading the blurp on the back cover In the future chapters I think that Phil will attempt to kill Caitlin's mother and, the ghost is Caitlin's real father. I also think that the “Kick-Butt” reporter is Viola (the title gives this away)
In this short chapter not a lot happened, they Introduced a few more characters.
A policeman comes to Caitlin's house, to talk about the safety issues about the bike tracks. Caitlin's Granddad and Caitlin address the issue but they get told that the problem will be fixed.
In this chapter Caitlin went to school and she found out that she’s has to do a research project, but she doesn't know who to do it on. Caitlin's friends try to convince Caitlin to do it on her Auntie Viola, The reporter.. At home Caitlin and her Granddad are discussing their mothers accident while they make Pizza.
In this Chapter Again, nothing really happened, But Phil came over to talk about Caitlin's Mother, about the Bike accident. After Caitlin continues her day-to-day route.
I don’t feel comfortable talking about this
In this Chapter she goes to school and talks to her friends about tank tops. Caitlin finds out that she’s nominated for the class council list. Also Caitlin finds photo of her aunt Viola. But, Honestly I’m starting to wonder if this book is for kids
Caitlin and her Granddad chat over scones, then her granddad goes to the supermarket to get some groceries. Suddenly a woman comes over and asks for a wheelbarrow, when Caitlin finds it she gets a chocolate brownie. Strangely her grandpa is angry with her. Caitlin also gets a diary from her aunt Viola, It has many stories’ about a mother who’s lost 3 babies.
Caitlin enjoyed a day at the mall with her mum to buy Caitlin new winter shirts. They shopped in a women’s wear shop, In a emergency Caitlin had to go to the bathroom. During that day Caitlin was also nervous about talking her mother in her wheelchair and what people thought of her. But Once Caitlin forgot to put the brakes on her mother wheelchair when she was shopping, so Caitlin called her friend to try help.
In this Chapter Caitlin goes to school feeling sick, because of her speech for student council. At the end of the day Caitlin talks to her granddad about the speech, and she’s proud that she got student council.
During this chapter Caitlin found out that her mother won’t be working at Pinehaven anymore, Caitlin was sad to hear this because he mother as been working there for many years.
In this chapter Caitlin was at a student council meeting, when it was her turn to talk at the meeting she paused and get really embarrassed.
During Chapter 13 Caitlin goes to the movies with her friends, Brooke and Olivia. But with a awful twist Caitlin finds herself face-to-face with her enemy Ella. Also Caitlin's teacher is recommending taking her student counselor role to the next level.
Not a lot happened in this chapter but Caitlin and Liam were talking about Caitlin's campaign about the girls bathroom (hygiene).
Caitlin found a note from her mother saying that she went out with Sonya. Caitlin's campaign is caught notice by other students, and they start protecting, by using the teachers toilets And the teachers are forced to use the awful children bathrooms.
Caitlin gets interviewed by a lady because of her student council campaign with the bathrooms.
In this Chapter Caitlin starts planning her 13th birthday party and her mother is limiting her to 10 friends. Caitlin is also reading her aunt’s diary.
Caitlin finds out how her father died, He died during the planning of his wedding and he only 19 years old.
Caitlin And Megan meet up for hot chocolate, and they meet a man who starts telling stories about a bike accident, Caitlin is very interested because the handlebars broke like her mum’s accident.
The Man gives Caitlin a receipt and Caitlin shows Phil the receipt, and Phil finds out that The business doesn't exist.
Caitlin talks to her crush (Liam) to about him fixing her printer. When Caitlin returns home, Caitlin gets very rude to her mother.
Caitlin is finally having her 13th birthday party and awkwardly Liam comes over to look at Caitlin’s printer, but Liam notices the other people there for her party so he offers to leave and come back another time. The next week Liam comes back and fixes the printer. Caitlin and Liam starts talking about the bike accident and Caitlin's talks about how much they need money, and Liam suggests to sue the man who sold the bike.
Caitlin's Grandad is sick and in hospital with a disease called pneumonia. Caitlin contacted the city council about the bike accent, The woman tells Caitlin that they take bike safety very seriously.
Caitlin and Liam are trying to sue the man who sold them the bike that caused Caitlin's mothers accident, but with no luck they continue their school days, until Liam finds out some very important information, but Caitlin gets angry at school, then Liam decides to not tell her.
During this chapter Caitlin is still committed to find the guy who sold the bike. Her granddad tells her that he threw out the bike. Caitlin goes to Phil's house to find the bike and she explains what she is doing.
In This chapter they found a little more about the bike man who sold them the bike. In this book I think that it changes scenes way to quickly, and it’s very confusing, so half the time in this chapter I was confused about what was going on.
During this chapter Caitlin, her friends and Caitlin’s mum go to the zoo and they see many animal, one of the animals was a baboon. Caitlin’s friends talk about how the monkeys look like their teacher. Later on the girls laugh over their lunch.
Finally there was an interesting chapter. Caitlin goes to a house, this house is no ordinary house though it belongs to to man who sold the bike, or maybe Caitlin just thinks that. Caitlin rudely goes in the house searching for bikes for proof, as soon as she finds the bikes she goes home just in time for her mother to tell her off for barging into someone's house.
At this point In this book I have noticed that it’s very confusing and it jumps scenes quickly.
In this chapter Megan comes over to Caitlin's house to talk about them suing the bike selling man. But other than that nothing else happens
Caitlin’s mother comes home, and she tells Caitlin about the new car she brought. Caitlin later gets a phone call from Megan the reporter asking if she want to help her write an article about the bike incident; Caitlin loves this idea, Megan tells Caitlin that she has to use a different name. As Caitlin is choosing a name she writes down her name and uses the same letters (Caitlin.V.Nove) she writes many names including Anne, Vivian and many others but Caitlin notices that her name is kind off similar to her aunts, Viola.
On a Saturday morning Caitlin runs out early to get the mail and she reads her article, It says that Caitlin uses the name Viola Vincent so I’m assuming her Aunt isn't named Viola or she is using her name; But I think this is where the title comes into the story. Caitlin is so proud of herself until the story comes onto the news and it shows that the bike man is going to sue because of Caitlin, Caitlin starts crying.
Caitlin goes to school just in time to have Liam laughing at her, she tells him to shush. Caitlin finds out that the man has no right to sue because the police found the bad bikes hidden in his house, To celebrate Caitlin, Rita (Her mother) and Phil go to a restaurant.
I think that the author was not very good I thought that they had jumped to scene to scene without talking about where they were at the time, I also think that the book was quite boring most of the time. They also had very interesting Chapters and very boring Chapters, I think that they should spread out the drama. I don’t recommend this book, but I think that this book is suited for 11 - 13 year old girls. The ending was also very predictable and cheesy. I think that the blurp gets you all excited for the book, but honestly it's very disappointing.

Everyone knows about the Olympics that happens every 4th year, but not many people know about the Paralympics. I'm Georgia Fox and i’m talking about why the Paralympics should and shouldn't be jointed to the Olympics.
I find that it’s unfair how much people know about the Olympics, and not many know about the Paralympics. The competitors at the Paralympics have to work 10 times harder, because of their disabilities. The Olympics should be inclusive and let the disabled go to the Olympics to compete instead of the two games being separated.
But on the other hand it gives the Paralympic competitors a fair chance of getting gold, silver and bronze. The Paralympic competitors can only run so fast or jump so high, it’s not their fault that they can’t do as much, most of the computers have special technology to help them do the sports.
I think they did the right thing to keep them separate the Olympics and Paralympics because it gives everyone a fair chance for gold. Even though the Paralympics doesn't get as much credit for what they do and how hard they work.
No matter who is competing for any competition everyone should get the same amount of credit, even if you lost a limb or not.
