Jesus Learning Term One

I chose this picture of Jesus hugging a boy because it shows that Jesus loves everyone no matter who you are and what you do. this picture is very white and it looks peaceful and nice, and the dove and the rainbow in the background is a nice touch of saying everything will be alright. This picture reminds me that God and Jesus loves you even if you make a mistake, because all humans make mistakes and sins.
Jesus was fully human because he had parents and he grew up. Jesus is God because he performed miracles, such as curing the blind man. Jesus came to show us how to live.

Quick Write Term 1 Week 8

Imagine; a world, where sharks swim in the forest and somehow you find yourself lost in the woods.
You sprint to the back of the rough bark, you breathe in through your mouth and heavily breathe out  through your nose and close your eyes.  You hear a noise, you slowly open your eyes, wishing it's not what you think it is. You see a shadow, misty and mysterious. It slowly gets closer...

My Prediction for "Sugar"

For Sugar, life is anything but sweet.
This story is about an African American ten year old girl who is a slave for the sugar plantation. I predict that this girl named Sugar will go through many rough times like losing loved ones. But I think that she will try and make friends with new Chinese slaves, but they will push her away because she is African. She will also try and make peace between the American, Chinese and the African-Americans but it will backfire... but in the end, hopefully she will be overjoyed by something truly wonderful, possibly a taste of freedom.

My Language Feature Goal Term One Week Seven

Ok, it's 1.00pm on this sunny afternoon and the mail should be here, so I go outside and step down the stone-made steps and walk across the grass to my shiny red mailbox. I open the mailbox door and get out the mail and flick through it... and what I see hiding behind the sports magazine is a picture of me sitting in the park! I sent this picture to the photographics place so they can put some affects on it, but its not the affects I wanted, because you cant see me AT ALL!!! All you can see is floating clothes and a pair of lacy black gloves holding my favourite book- yes, The Wizard of Oz!
Anyway, I call the photographics place and tried to complain but all they said was............ nothing, nothing at all!  But, to be honest it's kinda funny, I might as well keep it!

My goal was to use more descriptive language in my creative writing. I have achieved this by using words such as "shiny, floating, lacy".

Quick-Write Term 1 Week 6

What happened...

Shadows follow her dying shocked soul like she did something awfully wrong; but no one knows what happened or who caused it, all that remains is grey floppy grass, sad brown-leafed dead trees and few people from this terrible event.

This dull day is where the tragic tears from peoples lost ones flowed and the end of the small village.
What is upon the lady's suitcase is unknown... maybe a small amount of beloved memories.

The grey, old, dusty cracked road is where figures find out what their tiny hopeful futures might hold......?
